  Should Saddam Be Executed If Found Guilty?

  there is only so far you can go in inflicting just punishment upon an evil person.

  yet how evil is someone who has murdered one person in cold blood, compared to someone who is guilty of genocide?

  the crime of murder is heinous in itself, but does the fact that someone may be responsible for millions of deaths make the crime of multiple murder a million times worse than the person who kills only once?

  I think the world courts would probably vie for imprisoning him for the rest of his life. He would surely be and make others miserable for years to come that way.
  
  There has been much talk of the West pushing views, ideals and morality on the Middle East, in this instance I think Iraqi law should be followed when he is convicted.
  
  I just hope they televise it! I'll make the popcorn!

  OK my conservative cap is square on my head for this one.
  
  Wrong,wrong,criminaly wrong. It just proves that people don't learn from the actions of others. Was there not enough coverage of the Letourneau case??
  
  I know I got sick of seeing her child molesting mug on the tv!
  
  Having sexual feelings for children is perverse! Acting on those urges is despicable!
  
  Maybe if we all switched our view of sex from a sensualy pleasurable activity to an emotionaly bonding force between two people who love each other exclusively, (maried would be best...hey quit throwing stuff!) then folks wouldn't be bopping just to get their rocks off.

  That's right Patio, cause when all is said and done, the elections are over and the the smoke clears, I want to be here to enjoy visiting with ALL my friends, Liberal, Conservative, Republican, Democrat, and whatever else.

  When things get tense and emotions are running high, humor is a great release.

  Flowers for Algernon - anyone ever read it?

  i remember this from school............it was one of those short stories that were required reading.........i remember being totally swept away by it and deeply saddened by the ending.. .

  daniel keyes wrote little sf but is highly regarded for one classic, flowers for algernon.

  as a 1959 novella it won a hugo award; the 1966 novel-length expansion won a nebula.

  I read it in high school. Its a great story.
  We had a developmentaly challenged kid in the class named Mark Gordon. He became the brunt of many a bullies attention shortly after we read it.
  
  Mark was my friend. I broke my first nose because if it. Like I said he was my friend.

  Another exam passed, but I'm losing my touch !

  oh no ... my 'unbeaten run' has come to an end .

  after 9 first-time exam passes i failed one .

  i took 70-293 "networking infrastructure" last monday and got 675 - about one question short of the 700 pass mark.
